The league leaders failed to overcome 'Banga'

"TOPsport" supported Lithuanian Football A League leader "Kauno Žalgiris" stumbled. In the 27th round, the Kaunas team played to a draw against Gargždai "Banga" – 0:0.

In the first half, the hosts had a good opportunity to take the lead. Maksimas Andrejevas took a shot into the far corner of the goal – Tomas Švedkauskas superbly saved the team.

On the other side of the pitch, Fortune was not kind to Dejan Georgijevičius. The Serbian forward failed to connect with the ball from a good position, and Mantas Bertašius saved two more of his attempts.

After the break, D. Georgijevičius continued to be noticeable. At one point, the forward hit the crossbar, and M. Bertašius saved his attempt again.
