The French league announced where this season's Super Cup will take place, between the French champions and runners-up.

The match between Marseille and PSG will be held in Kuwait on January 8.

Last season, PSG became champions of both Ligue 1 and the French Cup, ultimately achieving a treble by also triumphing in the Champions League. Due to this dominance, the Marseille team was invited to the Super Cup final.

The Super Cup of Spain, like that of Italy, takes place in Saudi Arabia.
