Fans of the "RC Strasbourg" club and the Argentina national team received bad news.

Forward Joaquín Panichelli suffered a cruciate ligament injury.

As a result, the Argentine will not play for about seven months and will miss the World Cup.

J. Panichelli is the top scorer in Ligue 1 and has scored 16 goals.

23-year-old Joaquín Panichelli has been playing for "RC Strasbourg" since last summer and has scored 18 times in 38 matches.

The World Cup will take place from June 11 to July 19.
