Tauras invites a famous newcomer

The FK "Tauras" team has shaken the First League championship.

The Tauragė club announced the signing of a contract with former Vilnius "Žalgiris" forward Serge Nyuiadzi.

"A well-known player in the Lithuanian football community joins the team - Serge Nyuiadzi! A multiple-time Lithuanian champion, the 33-year-old forward hails from the Republic of Togo. Serge spent a significant part of his career in the Vilnius "Žalgiris" team and also represented the colors of Marijampolė "Sūduva" - he is no stranger to football in Lithuania.

Early in his career, he had to represent the French top league club "Nice." Having a remarkable career, Serge will don the red and black jersey, aiming to help the Tauragė team return to the highest level of football in Lithuania," the club's announcement states.
