England football fans were somewhat surprised by Thomas Tuchel's decision not to call up Jude Bellingham, who has recovered from injury, for the upcoming national team window.

The German explained this decision at a press conference: "I had a call with Jude. It wasn’t an awkward conversation, but it’s never easy to say that you are not in the squad.

He simply lacks rhythm. He hasn’t had a full match yet. He needs to get back to full capacity.”
