Vancouver "Whitecaps" newcomer Thomas Muller quickly opened his goal-scoring account at his new club by successfully converting a winning penalty kick in a match (3:2) against "St. Louis City".

The famous German commented to the US media on his unique ability to outsmart the goalkeeper.

Until 2016, he was the main penalty shooter for Bayern Munich, but the forward later had to relinquish this opportunity to the incoming Pole Robert Lewandowski.

"I think I overdid it with improving my shooting technique at that time, while the Pole did the opposite. He copied my actions and adjusted them properly.

Robert also tricked goalkeepers, but he kicked the ball harder," said T. Muller.
