Former Arsenal and Barcelona forward Thierry Henry commented on the whistles from Real Madrid fans before the La Liga match:

The whistles from the Madrid team’s fans? That happened to me while playing at Barcelona.

At such clubs, you are judged for what you don’t do, not for what you have accomplished.

You play for Barcelona or Real Madrid, and then the fans let you know when they are not happy.

It doesn’t matter if you fight for victories.

Real lost to Barcelona in the Spanish Supercup final two weeks ago and was eliminated by Albacete in the Copa del Rey round of 16.
