Sidy Sanokho, who had a very successful season in 2025 with Marijampolė "Sūduva," will remain with the team for a long time.

"Sūduva" purchased the player's contract from Jonavos "Be1" for an undisclosed amount and signed a new contract with him until the end of the 2028 season.

The 28-year-old forward holds citizenship in France and Mali and started his career in the youth systems of the Italian clubs "Spezia" and "Novara."

Later, the player was part of the French clubs "Racing CFF," "Furiani," and "Nancy B," as well as the English club "Swindon Town."

S. Sanokho arrived in Marijampolė on loan from Jonavos "Be1" before the 2025 season. Last season, the forward scored 6 goals and provided 3 assists for the Marijampolė team in the national championship and cup tournament over 37 matches.
