Football fans have admired the performances of Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham for many years.

There is no doubt that soon his younger brother Jobe's name will start to ring out more and more loudly in the Old Continent, as he joined Borussia Dortmund this summer.

According to "Standard", the excellent performances of the English player are not a coincidence.

Coach Kevin Betsy, who worked with the then very young brothers for four years in their hometown, revealed that strict parents contributed to their good results.

Mark Bellingham, a police sergeant, wanted the footballers to stay in their first team for as long as possible, thus avoiding unnecessary distractions and not taking wrong paths.

The players' parents were very eager for their offspring to grow up at home in Birmingham while raising their skills at a nearby training base.

The parents had offers from powerful European clubs on the table when Jude was only 12-13 years old, but they did not give up their ideas – according to them, it is important not to lose sight of their children during their teenage years.

Moreover, it was equally important to succeed academically – if the players had received poor grades, training would have come to an end. That is why Jude passed his exams so well," said K. Betsy.
