Sporting ends Bodo/Glimt's sensational journey with a flurry of goals

The Lisbon "Sporting" team played one of the most impressive matches in the club's history.

The Portuguese team defeated this Champions League season's sensation "Bodo/Glimt" 5:0 after extra time and advanced to the tournament quarter-finals.

The first match in Norway ended with the hosts winning 3:0.

In Wednesday's match, "Sporting" failed to score an early goal – the first one was registered by G. Ignacio in the 34th minute.

In the 61st minute, P. Goncalves scored the second goal for the Portuguese club, while in the 79th minute, L. Suárez converted a penalty, sending the teams into extra time.

During extra time, goals from M. Araujo (92 min.) and R. Nelo (120+1 min.) secured an impressive victory for "Sporting".
