Šiauliai mixed with Džiugas at home

FA "Šiauliai” achieved the biggest victory of this season in the "TOPsport A league”. The club coached by Dainius Kazakevičius crushed Telšiai "Džiugas” at home with a score of 5:0 (2:0) in the 18th round clash.

The Šiauliai team scored two quite similar goals in the first half, in the 37th and 45th minutes. The attacks developed along the right flank turned into accurate shots by Milanas Džokičius and Danielis Romanovskis.

In the second half, the hosts played a stunning few-minute segment. In the 59th minute, after a pass from the right flank, Eligijus Jankauskas scored again, and during another attack, M. Džokičius directed the ball into the net on the second attempt.

The legionnaire from Serbia didn’t slow down and became the author of the first hat-trick of this season in the 65th minute.

The representatives of the Sun City secured 4th place with 29 points, while "Džiugas” has 24 points and is in fifth place.
