Severely injured 'Dainava' legionnaire released from the hospital

"Dainava" team's fans heard joyful news.

Yesterday, the club's legionnaire Obi Jeremiah Chinonso was attacked and brutally injured with a knife in Alytus, but did not suffer life-threatening injuries.

The 20-year-old, after emergency surgeries, is already being discharged from Kaunas Hospital and will continue treatment at home.

His 18-year-old attacker will probably remain in custody for a long time – the court has requested to detain the criminal for three months.

He faces a penalty of 7-15 years of imprisonment.
