Leverkusen's "Bayer" club director Simon Rolfes commented on why the team's newcomer Claudio Echeverri is not getting enough playing time:

"The team must first have stability in defense in order to play dominant football.

The more we are able to achieve this, the more C. Echeverri and other attacking players will be useful to this team."

19-year-old Claudio Echeverri has played five matches this season.
