Members of the "Barcelona" team continue to lay blame on the referees for their failure in the UEFA Champions League semi-final match in Milan, prompting a response from the referee who officiated the match, Szymon Marciniak.
The Pole urged the Catalans not to bring shame upon themselves with such statements.
"The comments made by coach Hansi Flick and his players are absurd.
What more can be said about such foolish thoughts? I have not wronged anyone," the referee explained.
He also dismissed the call from "Barca" defender Pedri for UEFA to start an investigation.
"I am ready for anything," S. Marciniak said.
