On Thursday in Trondheim (Norway), in the first match of the second round of the UEFA Conference League qualifying, "Banga" lost 0:5 to "Rosenborg".

For a third of the first half, "Banga" did not allow the opponents to create dangerous situations, but later "Rosenborg" started visiting M.Bertašius' goal more often.

In the 18th minute, after the hosts took a corner, "Banga" was saved twice by H.Figueredo, who cleared the ball off the goal line.

Unfortunately, after four minutes, another corner ended in failure – D.Islamović headed the ball into the goal from a few meters away. After conceding a goal, "Banga" managed to level up the game a bit, but the Gargždai team's attempts to get closer to the opponents' goal ended at the penalty area line.

In the 35th minute, the hosts had an opportunity to increase their lead when, after a mistake in the penalty area, D.Islamović headed the ball. Fortunately, M.Bertašius saved the shot.

A decisive moment in the match came in a two-minute interval at the beginning of the second half. In the 49th minute, M.Ramanauskas was shown a yellow card for time-wasting, and a minute later, the captain of "Banga" was warned for the second time and sent off the field.

From that moment, the home team completely took control of the match. In the 61st minute, D.Islamović doubled "Rosenborg's" lead, and in the 64th minute, S.Nordli scored the third goal into M.Bertašius' defended net.

As the end of the match approached, the hosts scored two more goals – in the 82nd minute D.Islamović found the net for the third time, and in the 86th minute M.Ceide scored the fifth goal for "Rosenborg".
