"Man City's midfielder Rodri was forced to relinquish the title of 'Ballon d'Or' winner without a fight.

The 29-year-old Spaniard was hindered by a serious leg injury, which caused him to miss almost the entire last season.

Now the Spaniard believes that his future successor plays for 'Barcelona' or PSG.

"I would like Lamine Yamal or Pedri to win, but if sporting achievements are considered, then the title will go to Ousmane Dembélé or Vitinha," explained Rodri.

The winner of the 'Ballon d'Or' election will be revealed on September 22nd in Paris.
