Former Vilnius "Žalgiris" head coach Vladimir Čeburinas received an inadequate salary for Lithuanian football.

As journalist Ervinas Kvitkauskas announced in the TV3 podcast "Top Experts' Lodge," the Kazakh earned approximately 150-200 thousand euros per season.

According to the expert, this also reveals the lie of the former "Žalgiris" director Vilma Venslovaitinė, who often claimed that no one in "Žalgiris" receives a salary greater than 5 thousand euros per month.

V. Čeburinas' salary exceeded that of both Giedrius Žibėnas from Vilnius "Rytas" and Rimas Kurtinaitis, the head coach of the Lithuanian men's basketball team.
