In the upcoming summer, Madrid's "Real" will decide what to do about the head coach position.

At the beginning of the year, the "royal" club fired Xabi Alonso and appointed Alvaro Arbeloa in his place. However, the former "Real" player is not necessarily seen as a long-term solution to the problem.

ESPN reports that "Real" officials have set their sights on a somewhat unexpected coach who could take over the team in the summer.

It is reported that the Madrid club sees the current U.S. national team coach Mauricio Pochettino as one of the most realistic candidates for the head coach position.

It is added that "Real" president Florentino Pérez is very impressed with the work of the Argentine.
