Spain's top football league "La Liga" has once again returned to the idea of moving one of the season's matches to the USA.
ESPN reports that the Spanish football federation has already approved the "La Liga" idea to move the 17th round match between "Villarreal" and "Barcelona" to Miami, and now the verdicts from FIFA and UEFA are awaited.
However, the Madrid "Real" club has reacted to this situation, opposing such a decision.
In a statement released by the club, it is stated that moving a match to another country creates unequal conditions for the league's teams.
It is clear that "Real" is appealing to the situation where instead of the match at "Villarreal" stadium, "Barca" would play their away match in a neutral stadium in the USA.
The "Royal" club adds that such match relocations should only be possible with the approval of all league clubs.
"Real" has also already approached FIFA and UEFA to suspend the plans of "La Liga" and the Spanish football federation.
