The Madrid "Real" team, trying to keep its most important players, is pleased with the outcome of successful negotiations.

Journalist Sacha Tavollieri and other portals report that the royal team has reached a verbal agreement with goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.

The new contract with the Belgian would be valid until the summer of 2029.

T. Courtois has been playing for "Real" since 2018, when he was acquired from London’s "Chelsea" for 35 million euros.

In the past season, he conceded 55 goals in 46 matches and kept a "clean sheet" 14 times.
