Last summer, Gonzalo Higuain, who shone with Real Madrid in the world club championship, has become redundant for the Spanish team.
According to The Athletic, the 22-year-old player will leave the royal team next summer.
This will happen despite the fact that last year Higuain signed a contract with Real that will last until mid-2030.
The Madrid club wants the player to get more playing time at another club, but is only considering selling the player, not loaning him out.
This season in La Liga, the Spaniard has appeared in the starting lineup 6 times (and came on from the bench 18 times - ed. note) and scored 4 goals.
