In the quarterfinals of the French "Coupe de France" cup, the "RC Lens" team won against "Lyon" away after a penalty shootout.

The Lyon team had achieved 13 victories in 15 matches across all competitions until now.

The regular time ended with a score of 2:2.

In the 23rd minute, Florian Thauvin put the guests ahead.

In the 45+1 minute, Abdallah Sima doubled the score.

In the 67th minute, Roman Yaremchuk equalized the score for the OL team.

In the 70th minute, Lens player Arthur Masuaku received a red card.

In the 90+4 minute, Remi Himbert equalized the score.

In the penalty shootout, the "RC Lens" team triumphed with a score of 5:4.

The only penalty not converted by the hosts was Moussa Niakhate.
