Barcelona club winger Raphinha commented on his placement in the Ballon d'Or awards and his desire to play for the Catalan team throughout his career:
I believe I will have the opportunity to win this prize in the future.
Football has many twists and turns, and I believe I have many years ahead of me to achieve new goals.
I see the fifth place in the previous awards as motivation, not pressure. I know my potential.
The Ballon d'Or is an individual award, but football is a team sport. When I look at everything I've achieved with Barca and the Brazilians, I realize how much I should be grateful instead of disappointed... I am very grateful.
This motivates me to continue playing this way.
I would very much like to play in Barcelona for the rest of my career and finish it here. To win titles, help young players, and leave my mark in the history of this team. I want to be a part of Barcelona club history.
The 28-year-old Raphinha scored 34 goals in 57 matches last season and won three titles in Spain.
Currently, the Brazilian is injured, but he will return after the international break.
