The Polish national team lost 2:3 to Sweden in the decisive World Cup qualifying match.

After the match, forward Robert Lewandowski did not hide his emotions and briefly commented on his future:

"It’s hard to say anything right now because I don’t know if the words I say match my feelings.

Football can be a cruel game. You can play well and still lose, which is the worst feeling."

"First, I have to think about some things and rethink them,

I’m not in a position to make any statements. I’ll return to my club, and I still have time to play a few matches this season."

37-year-old Robert Lewandowski has been playing for the Polish national team since 2008 and has scored 29 goals in 165 matches.

The World Cup will take place from June 11 to July 19.
