"Barcelona" club forward Robert Lewandowski did not spare praises for Bayern Munich forward Harry Kane in an interview with the sports publication "Sky Sports" and recalled his goal record:
The Englishman scored 30 goals in 24 matches in the Bundesliga and is aiming for the Pole's record of 41 goals.
Then I saw that I scored 41 goals in this championship over 29 matches.
If I played all 34 matches, I can imagine that I would have scored even more times."
Robert Lewandowski set this record in the 2020-2021 season.
There are ten matches left until the end of the Bundesliga championship, and the Englishman is eleven goals short.
