At the beginning of this year, the then-director of Vilnius "Žalgiris," Vilma Venslovaitienė, "written off" young forward Romualdas Jansonas is rapidly climbing the career ladder.

The portal tv3.lt reports that the 20-year-old Lithuanian, who now belongs to the "Kauno Žalgiris" club, will soon become a player for "Arouca," which plays in the top Portuguese league.

"No one is interested in him because he has not integrated into men's football," commented V. Venslovaitienė about the decision not to keep the footballer in the "Žalgiris" ranks in February.

Now the leaders of the A league will receive a financial compensation for the player.

In this Lithuanian championship, R. Jansonas scored 6 goals and provided 4 assists in 23 matches.
