PSG and Barcelona's Cold War Over Players: The French Win All Battles © AP

The president of Paris Saint-Germain, Nasser Al Khelaifi, continues to eye the Barcelona team.

As noted by the Spanish press, the Ligue 1 representative, who lured the promising midfielder Dro Fernández this month, has extended an invisible war against the Catalan club.

The first clash between the clubs for players took place in 2012 when PSG defeated Barca in the battle for AC Milan defender Thiago Silva.

Later, the French league's wealthy club purchased Barcelona's forward Neymar for a record sum, won the tussle for Xavi Simons, and invited Lionel Messi and Ousmane Dembélé, who had become free agents.

The reason for PSG's success is simple: they offer colossal sums of money that famous players cannot resist.
