On November 25, the fifth National Integrated 8-a-side football tournament for vocational schools, dedicated to the trophy and prizes established by Karolis Dieninis, took place at the Kaunas University of Technology Training Center's Social Services Division stadium.

One of the goals of this traditional football tournament is communication and collaboration between institutions. It is always nice to hear that students are interested and asking teachers when this football tournament will be organized; this shows that communication becomes a key factor supporting this idea each tournament. - said the organizer of this tournament, Martynas Karpavičius.

I am happy to contribute to this football tournament, which unites vocational educational institutions. Integrated football tournaments promote understanding and the opportunity for everyone to feel equal. - shared his thoughts the director of the Lithuanian Futsal Association, Karolius Dieninis.

Five teams competed in the football tournament: the King Mindaugas Vocational Training Center, the Kaunas School of Information Technology, the Marijampolės Vocational Training Center, and two teams from the Kaunas University of Technology Training Center – Social Services Division.

The teams played eight against eight. Each team included boys and girls. The matches took place without referees, encouraging respect for one another.

After all the teams played against each other, the tournament standings were as follows:

1. King Mindaugas Vocational Training Center (10 points)

2. Kaunas School of Information Technology (10 points);

3. Kaunas University of Technology Training Center – Social Services Division Team I (6 points);

4. Marijampolės Vocational Training Center (3 points);

5. Kaunas University of Technology Training Center – Social Services Division Team II (0 points);

The most prolific player of the tournament was Adomas Daniulis from the King Mindaugas Vocational Training Center, who scored 5 goals.

The best players from the teams were selected:

1. Social Services Division Team I – Vismantas Arlauskas.

2. Marijampolės Vocational Training Center – Miglė Patricija Pileckaitė and Titas Genevičius

3. Social Services Division Team II – Gytis Jakutavičius

4. Kaunas School of Information Technology – Deimantė Bepirštytė Andrušaitė

5. King Mindaugas Vocational Training Center – Jonas Gaveika.

The football event was organized by the expert vocational teacher of the Social Services Division, Vida Misevičienė, and the head of the sports events club, Martynas Karpavičius.
