London's "Arsenal" once again remained empty-handed.
Although it was reported that the team would soon be joined by Bayern Munich's defender Gustavo, the battle for the Brazilian was won by "Wolfsburg."
The 26-year-old Brazilian, who won the 2008-2009 Bundesliga championship, signed a long-term contract and cost around 20 million euros.
Gustavo played for Bayern for two and a half years and defended the team's honor in more than 60 matches.
"Wolfsburg" already has Brazilians Naldo, Diego, and Felipe Lopes representing the team.
