The club acquired Milan forward Goran Pandev for 7.5 million euros. The 28-year-old Macedonian national team player spent last season on loan at Napoli. In 30 Serie A matches, he managed to score six times.
"I wanted to stay with Napoli at any cost, because I felt at home here," said Pandev. "I believe in the project and I am sure that victory in the Italian Cup tournament is just the beginning of the golden road."
And he added: "I hope to finish my career at this club."
The former AS Roma player signed a three-year contract with the possibility of extending it for another year.
