Munich President Uli Hoeness confirmed that the club will acquire Schalke goalkeeper Manuel Neuer for 15 million euros.
However, this news will be officially confirmed a little later, and the transfer fee could increase based on additional conditions.
"The board has reached an agreement with Schalke, so it's just a psychological question now: whether the Gelsenkirchen team wants to confirm it before the cup final or after," Hoeness said.
In the German Cup final, Schalke will play against Duisburg next weekend.
