The defender of the London team William Gallas will not play for approximately three weeks due to an injury suffered in training. The 33-year-old Frenchman injured his ankle on Friday and already missed the Premier League match against West Ham, which Tottenham lost 0-1. However, Gallas' loss is not the only one, as another defender Ledley King is also recovering from an injury. In addition, several other defenders - Michael Dawson, Younes Kaboul and Jonathan Woodgate - have also experienced injuries of varying degrees. It remains unclear whether Benoit Assou-Ekotto will help the team in the Champions League match against Twente on Tuesday.
