Munich's "Bayern" club director Karl-Heinz Rummenigge commented on Florian Wirtz's decision to move to the "Liverpool" team:

"Am I surprised that F. Wirtz is stuck in this team? Yes.

A. Slot promised him that he would play in the attacking midfielder position.

This was a key factor in why he chose the "Scousers" team.
