On the last day of the transfer window, London’s Chelsea club was unable to reinforce their defense.
The "Aristocrats" had reached an agreement with Monaco for the transfer of Lamine Camara.
The Senegalese player was set to move to London for 55 million euros.
A medical examination had also been agreed upon.
This transfer did not happen because Folarin Balogun did not move to Everton’s ranks.
In the meantime, Chelsea remained angry that Monaco did not agree to sell this defender.
The 22-year-old Lamine Camara has been playing for Monaco since 2024 and has scored seven goals in 75 matches.
Last season he scored four times in 32 matches.
