Shock in France: In the Super Cup final, Lens defeated European champions PSG

The best European team Paris Saint-Germain experienced a setback on the local front.

In the final of the French Super Cup, Lens defeated the PSG team 1:0.

The winning goal was scored in the 32nd minute. Florian Thauvin found the net after a pass from Matthieu Udol.

Seven minutes after the goal, Lens was down a player – Kyllian Antonio was sent off the pitch for a harsh foul.

In the 86th minute, the situation equalized – Nuno Mendes' red card for unsporting behavior left both teams with ten players.

PSG failed to equalize the score, so the title was celebrated by Lens. This was Paris’ second Super Cup this week.
