Arsenal does not give up in the fight for B. Guimarães

London's Arsenal continues to seek to acquire midfielder Bruno Guimarães from Newcastle United.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that the 28-year-old Brazilian has agreed on personal contract details with the English champions, but the transfer is currently being blocked by the Magpies.

It is added that the Gunners are preparing a new £70 million offer, but there is no doubt that Newcastle will reject it.

Despite this, the English champions believe in their chances of eventually acquiring B. Guimarães, whom Mikel Arteta is eager to have in his team.
