London's "Chelsea" unexpectedly set their sights on "Sunderland" midfielder Granit Xhaka.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano has already reported that the "aristocrats" have reached an agreement with the player himself, but the "Sunderland" team is not ready to let the Swiss go easily.

Another journalist David Ornstein reports that the "Black Cats" rejected the first offer from the London club, which amounted to £8 million.

Moreover, "Sunderland" informed "Chelsea" that G. Xhaka will not be sold for any price.

For their part, the London club is confident that the proposed amount should be sufficient to acquire the experienced Swiss.
