Brighton rejected two offers from Tottenham for J. Paul van Hecke

Jan Paul van Hecke is currently still far from transferring to Tottenham.

The London club, seeking to sign the Dutchman, is still very far from an agreement with Brighton.

In a TalkSPORT show, Brighton's CEO Paul Barber revealed that two Tottenham offers were rejected.

Barber said: "Yes, we rejected one offer from Tottenham for Jan Paul van Hecke. To be honest, we rejected both offers."

It is said that Brighton might want £50 million for the defender. His contract expires next year.
