On Sunday, FK "Žalgiris" suffered a defeat in the 15th round of the Top League. The team from Vilnius, which gathered as many as 3,496 spectators at their home stadium, lost 1:3 (1:2) to the players of Kauno rajono "Hegelmann".

"Once again, I have to apologize to our fans, to the people who come to football. When you see that with 10-15 minutes left some people are leaving the stadium, that should hurt. It hurts me."

I would like the players to be hurt by it too, and for them to also take some responsibility. We keep talking about the same things. I am repeating myself – I've been in this team for a month now and so far I haven't managed to change anything.

This is clearly visible in the game. I totally take responsibility; I have to take it. Anything can happen. So far, I don't see that we are, first and foremost, a team internally. The game is also scattered. Intelligent players, seeing mistakes, try not to repeat them. But we constantly repeat them in every match. It surprises me – when I came to this team, I thought they were much better," said FK "Žalgiris" head coach Andrius Skerla, later adding that he does not see the passion in his players' eyes: "I try to ignite, to motivate, but it’s like hitting a wall."
