The Vilnius "Žalgiris" club – a painful blow.

It has been officially announced that the team has lost midfielder Giedrius Matulevičius for the remainder of the season.

The 29-year-old player suffered a cruciate ligament injury to his leg in an A league match against "Kauno Žalgiris," and the recovery may take 9–12 months.
