A. Tapinas: do not rejoice too much those who wish us failures

As many as 4,644 spectators nearly filled the stands of Vilnius' "Žalgiris" home stadium during the Easter evening match against "Kauno Žalgiris".

In an impressive atmosphere, the match was filled with excitement at both goals, but only the visitors defending the title of country champions turned their chances into goals, winning 3:0 (1:0).

After the match, "Žalgiris" president Andrius Tapinas consoled fans' disappointment and promised a brighter tomorrow.

"My biggest impression is that you didn’t leave the stadium, that you were with 'Žalgiris' at the score of 0:3 (...) We will sit here and look for ways to improve the situation.

On May 31, we will go to Kaunas and must achieve revenge.

We are here for the long term. So do not rejoice too much, those who wish for Vilnius "Žalgiris" to fail," said A. Tapinas.
