Former London Chelsea club and Brazil national team player Oscar has made a final decision.

The attacking midfielder, at 34 years old, ended his professional football career.

This decision was made due to heart problems.

This was confirmed by his represented club, Brazil's São Paulo.

In November, the Brazilian fainted during a medical examination and was taken to the hospital.

His contract was set to last until 2027.

Oscar played for Chelsea from 2012 to 2017 and scored 38 goals in 203 appearances.

He made twelve appearances for the Brazil national team, scoring twelve times in 48 matches.
