The London "Tottenham" club managed to entice the desired Roberto De Zerbi, but the club had various options.

According to "Football London" journalist Alasdair Gold, the London club seriously considered bringing back Ange Postecoglou on a short-term contract.

A. Postecoglou had been at the helm of the "Spurs" for two seasons, and at the end of last season, they managed to win the Europa League.

There were also mentions of Adi Hütter and Sean Dyche as candidates.
