G. Gattuso: 'I don't want to talk about my future' © AP

Italian football has experienced yet another tragedy.

On Tuesday evening, the Italian national team fell to Bosnia and Herzegovina in a penalty shootout and missed the World Cup for the third consecutive time.

After the defeat, the Italian national team's coach and true legend of the country's football, Gennaro Gattuso, apologized to the fans and did not want to talk about his future.

"I want to apologize to all the fans and all of Italy, because I failed.

Right now, I really don't want to talk about my future. It hurts a lot. It hurts even more to see this entire team and the people who worked tirelessly to bring Italy back to the World Cup. In fact, I believe we deserved to be in the World Cup.

We have to talk about Italy, about these historic jerseys and yet another painful blow to our football, but this time we did not deserve it," said G. Gattuso.
