The head coach of the Italian national team, Gennaro Gattuso, commented on the expected atmosphere from the opponents ahead of the decisive match against Bosnia and Herzegovina:
"This is an excuse. If the pitch is bad, it is bad for both teams, and the match still has to take place."
"It would be weak to pay attention to that. I saw the pitch and everything is fine."
"I have a lot of respect for the Bosnians because of how they performed on the field."
If we talk about the fans, they don't score goals; at least that has never happened to me."
"Seven months ago, we were not that team. We suffered against opponents, and they created chances easily."
Initially, we conceded absurd goals and struggled to maintain form."
The Italian national team will play the decisive match in Zenica.
The World Cup will take place from June 11 to July 19.
