The head coach of the Turkish national team Vincenzo Montella commented on the upcoming confrontation against Kosovo before the decisive match and praised his players:

"When I speak words that are very important to me, which come from the heart, the first thought is this: our footballers are real men.

I took over as head coach during a very difficult time... My players supported me a lot. It has always been a fighting team."

"They know that their names are not the only ones written on their backs. These are the names of millions of Turks and children.

Everyone feels the pressure. This is the final. We haven't been at the World Cup for 24 years, and most of our players weren't even born then.

We will do everything we can for our country."

The decisive match for qualification will take place in Pristina.

The World Cup will be held from June 11 to July 19.
