The Bosnia and Herzegovina national team's forward Edin Džeko commented on the pressure facing the Italians before the crucial match:

"The Italians didn’t want to play in Wales, I don’t know why, but we went there without much fear and won.

I don’t know why they should be afraid of the Welsh or the Bosnians. Italy is an incredible team that has won four World Cups.”

"If they are afraid to play in Wales, it means something is not right, and maybe we should look at it this way:

They could suffer a lot in this match, as they have to return to the major tournament that they missed twice in a row. This indicates that they are frightened.”

"I expect a tactical battle, considering that a lot is at stake for both teams.

I think the match will be very cautious from the very beginning.”

40-year-old Edin Džeko has been playing in Italy since 2016.

During this period, the forward spent five years at Roma, and two years each at AC Milan and Fiorentina.

Edin Džeko has been playing for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team since 2007.

The World Cup will take place from June 11 to July 19.
