The Scotland national football team lost to Japan with a score of 0:1 in a friendly match.

After the match, the head coach of the Scots, Steve Clarke, commented on the fans' whistling at his team:

"Yes, I am disappointed. I have to be honest.

It's just the modern style. It seems that this is what happens now; if you lose a match, you get whistled.

You just have to deal with it, but it disappoints me."

"We played against the highest level opponents, but we did not create enough chances in the final third of the pitch.

That is something we need to assess. We often talk about it and try to improve.

The Scots will play their next match on Tuesday against the Ivory Coast national team.

The Scotland national team has qualified for the World Cup, which will take place from June 11 to July 19.
