The head coach of the Ukraine national team, Serhiy Rebrov, did not hide his desire to qualify for the upcoming World Cup:

"We know why we are playing – our players are playing for the country, for those who defend our nation, for our soldiers.

These recent attacks in Ukraine are an additional source of motivation for us.”

"We have been watching many of Sweden's recent matches. Yes, Sweden has lost, but they did not have their best players during the qualifiers.

Ultimately, the same applies to us. Our opponents' attacking players are very strong, and the upcoming match will be very difficult.”

The Ukraine national team will face the Sweden national team in the World Cup qualifying semifinals.

In the event of a victory, the Ukrainians will meet the winner of the match between Poland and Albania in the final.
