The head coach of London’s Arsenal club, Mikel Arteta, praised rival coach David Moyes before the match against Everton and commented on Newcastle United’s game against Barcelona:
"I have wonderful memories with a large part of his staff, and Moyes himself changed my career after I decided to return to Spain.
He brought me into the ‘iris’ team, and together we experienced a lot of incredible things."
"I understand what is happening in the Premier League.
Barcelona is one of the teams that is very pleasant to watch.
They meet with the Newcastle team, but the ‘ducks’ play intensely and transition excellently. We saw games where Barcelona struggled.
Therefore, the greatest praise goes to the ‘ducks’ team."
The London Arsenal club is in first place in the English championship with 67 points.
Mikel Arteta played for Everton from 2005 to 2011 and scored 35 goals in 209 matches.
